Hilton Garden Inn Madison West/Middleton

We recently stayed using one of the conference rooms for 2 days. Upon our arrival 2 of the staff made sure we had everything we needed for the conference room. We needed to stay an extra night and the front desk manager went above and beyond to accommodate us inspite of being sold out. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for business meeting accommodations. Entire management team was outstanding

Newly updated hotel in a fantastic location. In the heart of shopping & restaurants which makes it very convenient. I called a few weeks ago to purchase a room last minute as our flight got cancelled and they accommodated us with early check in and were also able to give us last minute late checkout (only one hour but still very very helpful). Polite staff, Gloria at the front desk was so wonderful, even remembered my daughters name and said hi to her everytime we saw her. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was how cold the pool water was.. too cold for our 1 year old to enjoy ):

Great place. Clean rooms and hotel. Very polite staff. Only thing off and not enough of an issue to drop any stars from the review was the pool area needed more ventilation. After 10 or 15 minutes me,my wife and daughter's eyes were burning. We didn't go in over our heads, it was in the air. The pool and hot tub area was nice tho. Like I said, just need a lil more fresh air in there. Definitely stay there again.

We had a pretty good stay; however, the main reason we chose this location was for the pool and the hot tub was broken and the pool was EXTREMELY cold. My son was still able to play in the water for a short amount of time but it was a little disappointing. We didn't receive a hello or anything from the front desk when entering so I can't say much about the service. Everything was pretty much self service. WIFI was down the entire time, it would connect automatically but stated "no internet connection" during our whole stay. The morning of check out we had an issue with the toilet clogging.

Bed was comfortable and room was quiet; however, we encountered numerous issues and will not be returning to this hotel. First, while the thermostat was set to 71, and the room temperature was 74, the a/c would not come on. Had to set the fan to be permanently on to get the room to cool down, but then it went well below the setting. Second, the Keurig coffee maker produced coffee that was full of grounds. Tried it twice thinking the first pod was defective, but got a mouthful of grounds the second time as well. Third, there was nothing on the bottom of the tub to prevent slipping, so I nearly took a tumble. Less spry seniors definitely need to stay away until the hotel addresses this issue. Finally, the breakfast buffet did not open until 9 a.m. on a Sunday, which is something I have never encountered at a Hilton Garden Inn.

We have been coming to this hotel for years. Last year when we came they were doing a bunch of renovations. When we arrived this time I couldn't tell you what was different except their nice breakfast is now gone. When we arrived last time it was a coin flip on if your toilet worked. We had to change rooms several times to find one that worked. We joked about that as we arrived only to find our toilet didn't work this time either. The manager on duty said they didn't have maintenance and made US plunge the toilet to get it to work again. Found out later our shower didn't drain either. The rooms and property are clean and everything. But their plumbing and more importantly their management is about as poor as it gets. I can understand you may not have maintenance on hand at the moment, but then as the manager you should step up and take care of things for your guests. Couldn't have been a more disappointing visit. Edit to add: Their whole kitchen staff went on strike sunday morning unexpectedly. There are serious problems at this hotel right now.
